Strengthening of Responses to Fine Dust
About 66.3% of the total fine dusts in metropolitan area is caused by local road traffics, primarily from diesel-fueled vehicles. Especially PM10 100%, NOx 79% are emitted from diesel vehicles (35% of the total vehicles), requiring an intensive management.
Air Pollutant Emissions (2010)
Facing the nation’s higher concerns over hazardous substances in the air including fine dust, the efforts on reducing the substantial fine dusts should be made to protect the nation’s health.
